Praia da Salema

Praia da Salema is located in the region of the Algarve in Southern Portugal. The Algarve is famous for its paradise beaches and is a favorite amongst tourists.

Praia da Salema isn’t your typical touristic hotspot, but a calm getaway from the stresses of city life. The secluded coves, magnificent cliffs and its crystal-clear water, make Praia da Salema a truly unique vacation spot. It is nestled in the region of the Costa Vicentina, which is a protected Natural Reserve.

The apartment is within walking distance to the beach; however it is up on the hills, making it extremely peaceful. The small village center has all the basics: excellent restaurants with fresh fish, cafés on the waterfront, supermarkets, ATM machine, small shops.

The Western Algarve

Praia da Salema is very calm... but, for those wanting a “day in the city” or a busier night life, the Town of Lagos is only 20 KMs away! Lagos is worth visiting for its great restaurants, shops and cultural activities.

Also 20 KMs away is Sagres, the most Western tip of Europe! A nautical town full of history and amazing Atlantic landscapes.

Faro and the Airport of Faro are 105 KMs away, easily accessible by car.

Lisbon is 315 KMs, easily reached by a state highway.

Discover the beautiful beaches around Salema. Ingrina is a small, secluded beach. Try driving up the coast and exploring the wilder beaches such as Castelejo. Lagos also has wonderful beaches, but more crowded.
